Hanwei Tactical Tanto (KH2092) |
Points: 7
|
The Tactical Tanto combines the best attributes of a traditional tanto with modern features that make this an eminently practical tool. The genuine rayskin grip and distal-tapered, edge-tempered blade (60HRC edge) with its distinctive temper line are strictly tanto, but everything else is pure Paul Chen. The 7'' high-carbon blade is blued and under the rayskin a heavy tang provides strength and enough weight for effective use of the pommel. A spring latch provides positive retention in the powder-coated steel sheath, which is nylon-lined for quiet operation. Two positions are provided for attaching the ViseClip mounting, allowing ultra-secure handle-up or handle-down carry.

Museum Replicas Royal Indian Katar (403531) |
Points: 12
|
This famous push dagger reached the height of its use during the 16th to 19th centuries, and has inspired countless, imaginative fantasy and video game weapons ever since. With his hand securely gripping the cross bars, a warrior could punch through mail armor. This Katar, copied from an example in a British museum, has a “flame” blade and a brass handle with an antiqued finish. Elaborate flourishes on the grip and guard befit its status as a weapon carried by the ruling class. High carbon steel blade. Scabbard included.

This is a reproduction SMLE No. 1, Mk III early style bayonet with scabbard. Originals are scarce; early in WWI quillions were officially removed. The blade, which includes British markings, is made from high carbon steel properly tempered for holding a razor edge. Sharpening is available for an additional fee. All metal has been deeply blued and the wood grips have a rubbed oil appearance. The sheath is made with a leather body and sewn seam up the back with a lozenge style frog. The top and tip are made from metal with a matte black finish.
