The modified Tanto blade with partial serration is built of S30V stainless steel for strength and is coated with Tungsten DLC (Diamond Like Carbon) for a non-reflective matte-black finish. The 0400ST is thinner than most of the ZT folding knives, making it ideal for compact carry. While the front scale features friction tape inserts for a secure grip, the back scale does not have the tape, enabling an easier draw and storage in the pocket.
