This authentically detailed dagger is a reproduction of the prop featured in The Prince of Persia – “The Sands of Time”, presented by Disney. United Cutlery, industry leader in fine film reproductions, has meticulously recreated the actual filming prop. The blade is cast from solid metal, adorned with runes and gold colored highlights to match the filming prop. The highly decorated hilt parts have been precisely cast of metal and plated with real 18K antique gold. Highlighting the handle is a translucent quartzlike grip that houses the “time-altering” sand, as seen in the film. The pommel features a ruby accented jewel. This replica was created using the finest grade materials and craftsmanship available. Close attention to quality is a top priority in every piece. Each replica includes a custom wood wall plaque with a unique silk screen design, a brass shield and a certificate of authenticity.

Our Renaissance-style Swept Hilt Rapiers trace their origins to early 17th century Europe, where swordplay with the Rapier was considered an essential part of a gentleman's education and was often used in resolving gentlemanly disagreements. Blades generally originated in one of the blade making centers such as Toledo or Solingen, but many differences in styling and hilt materials resulted from the local manufacture of hilts all over Europe. The Main Gauche, or left hand dagger, was often used with the rapier, providing an added dimension in both offense and defense, and the "Schools of Fence" which proliferated in Europe during this period taught the use of the two weapons in combination. The Main Gauche would often match the Rapier in styling, while incorporating features which maximized the effectiveness of the piece.

Thompson’s close association with Dr. Maung Gyi, chief instructor of the American Bando Association, and a renowned martial artist with wide-ranging knowledge and skills. Under Dr. Gyi’s tutelage, Lynn gained insight into the full potential of the Kukri and learned it was not just a chopping weapon but a piercing, slashing, and smashing weapon as well. Smashing techniques allow the Kukri to function as a hammer or mallet or to deliver non-lethal blows in a self-defense role. A concentrated blow with the back of the blade can break bones or be lethal if directed at the head.
