The Shuriken (darts) of the Ninja included various projectiles such as dirks, darts and star-shaped discs, all forming part of the art of shurikenjutsu, which was an important part of the Ninja`s armoury. | ''Lowlander'' Two-Handed Great Sword (Antiqued) (SH2065N) |

Wielded with untamed ferocity on many a Gaelic battlefield, the massive Lowlander sword vividly illustrates the might of the Scots of old. Known as �Slaughter-Swords� in the 16th century, these were the swords of choice for Scottish mercenaries of the period, and at close to six feet long the Lowlander faithfully replicates a surviving museum piece. Though by far the largest sword ever offered by CAS Hanwei, the Lowlander is beautifully proportioned and balanced. The typically Scottish quatrefoils in the ring guards attest to the heritage of this imposing piece. The sword is available in both polished and antiqued finishes, the finish of the SH2065N closely replicating that of the original museum piece. The grips of the Lowlander are leather-covered with an overlaid leather binding. A wall mount is provided to allow the transplanted Gael to display his sword with pride.

| Folding Fillet Knife (KH2051) |

The Folding Filet is a locking folder light enough to be clipped to the fishing vest but sturdy enough to fillet the big ones. Construction is all-stainless, with a locking 420 blade that has just the right degree of flexibility to do the job. The blade is a full 4 ˝ long, thanks to the unique retracting blade guard, which extends to cover part of the blade in the closed position. The open-frame construction makes for easy clean-up.

| Hanwei Shaolin Small Jie Dao (SH2441) |

The Jie Dao, which may vary greatly in size, is traditionally used by Shaolin monks not as a weapon (which is forbidden) but for domestic purposes, including shaving. When traveling on foot, the Jie Dao may be used to clear a path in the forest or to gather firewood. The “Jie” in Jie Dao means “abstain”, and Jie Dao translates as “the sword of abstention from killing”. This explains the deliberate lack of a sharp point and ascribes spiritual as well as functional value. The best known legend involving the Jie Dao tells of Huike, the successor to Bhodidharma, who cut off his left arm with a Jie Dao in order to demonstrate his sincerity to Dharma.

Recreated by Hanwei, the "Gambler" features a walnut grip, 2,75" 440C blade and a polished steel sheath with a spring-clip mounting attachment. Long extolled as the pinnacle of rapier design, the "Spanish" or "Cup-Hilt" rapier undoubtedly combined style and function very effectively in 17th century Europe. The very best of these weapons featured beautifully pierced cups and pommels and CAS Hanwei has replicated these to perfection and combined them with an elegantly tapered high-carbon steel blade in our "Taza" rapier (the name comes from the French, who called this style "a la Taza"). A leather-covered scabbard is included.
The matching Main Gauche again features a pierced guard and pommel in the same design as the rapier, with a fileworked blade in the Spanish style. A leather scabbard and belt frog are included.

The Model 1841 6-Pounder gun was made in large numbers for the Mexican War and was in general service at the outbreak of the American Civil War. As a result they were widely used in large numbers by both the Federal and Confederate armies. Weighing approximately 900 lbs., these guns were fairly easily transported and maneuvered. They were superseded fairly early in the war, lacking the power of heavier guns and the range of rifled pieces, but nevertheless they have an important place in the history of the nation's conflict.
This 1/5 scale replica of the 6-pdr. is made with exacting attention to detail. Crafted entirely in steel and solid oak, with a barrel of blued steel, this reminder of a momentous time in our nation's history measures a little over two feet long and weighs in at a hefty 12-1/4 lbs. A treasure for the Civil War enthusiast, this outstanding piece will make an imposing display in any home or office.
