Over the years we have been constantly asked, “What about a hunting knife?” Well, finally I decided to do one. This knife was designed by my life long friend Brian B. He is one of the World’s premier big game hunters. That’s no exaggeration. He held the record for World’s largest lion for several years. He always used Commanders on his hunts but wanted a more “Specialized” blade for cleaning and skinning. He has used the CQC-16 Prototypes in Africa, Alaska, Montana and the Midwest on everything from Cape Buffalo to White Tailed Deer and it has performed as it should, every time. Now we bring this performance to you as the CQC-16 Emerson Hunting Folder.

Innovative knifemakers Grant and Gavin Hawk score again with the ZT 0650ST Automatic. It features the solid Zero Tolerance feel, a slightly lighter weight, and the unique style of Grant and Gavin Hawk. The 0650ST is equipped with the new CrossFire Auto Lock for extreme lockdown security. Toss it on a table, snag it on a seatbelt, manhandle it on a duty belt—there’s no chance the blade will accidentally deploy. The CrossFire lock requires two motions to work. First slide the lock toward the knife’s spine then pull it down toward the butt. Only then will the blade deploy. The CrossFire was specifically designed to operate easily, even with gloves on.The Hawks chose a drop-point blade with partial serration in high-end 154CM stainless steel for toughness and easy resharpening. Non-reflective, matte-black Tungsten DLC coating offers additional performance. The 0650st’s scales are constructed of 6061-T6 anodized aluminum with textured G-10 inlays for reduced weight and a secure grip.

The 0610 Automatic is built in the tradition of ZT’s practically indestructible construction and top-of-the-line materials. It features fully automatic blade deployment and, as such, is regulated by Federal laws. This knife is only sold through authorized dealers and cannot be shipped through the US Postal Service. To compliment its automatic operation, the 0610 also features the ZT Push Button Auto Lock. It operates with the push of a button and features a secondary slider lock that prevents the button from being accidentally depressed and deployed. Just move the secondary slider forward into a notch under the button and it’s completely secure. The Push Button Auto Lock was specifically designed to operate easily, even with gloves on. 154CM blade steel and machined, aircraft-aluminum handles make this partially serrated, folder sturdy and reliable.

The 0400ST has all the features of the 0400, plus a partially serrated blade for additional cutting versatility. The Tanto-style military folding knife features SpeedSafe® manual assisted opening for one-handed blade deployment. The modified Tanto blade with partial serration is built of S30V stainless steel for strength and is coated with Tungsten DLC (Diamond Like Carbon) for a non-reflective matte-black finish. The 0400ST is thinner than most of the ZT folding knives, making it ideal for compact carry. While the front scale features friction tape inserts for a secure grip, the back scale does not have the tape, enabling an easier draw and storage in the pocket. A 5/16-inch pivot shaft adjustment enables tighter or looser blade deployment. Includes a dual mounting system for tip-up or tip-down, right-handed clip carry.

Byrd Knives are a new species of knives produced and imported by Spyderco. The BY04 Meadowlark is the smallest byrd in the nest to date. The hollow-ground 440C/8Cr13MoV blade is available plain edged (toothless) or a combination plain edge/serrated edge configuration and fitted with a "comet" shaped opening hole that is unique to byrd designs and represents a symbol of quality. Texturing crosshatches the blade's spine gripping the thumbprint for slip free cutting. Its stainless steel handle fits in the hand ergonomically for right-hand use with a tip-up/tip-down carry clothing clip letting you clip the knife to the top of your pocket, pants or belt. With a reaffirming click the blade locks open with a backlock featuring a David Boye dent. This crescent removed from the lock release acts as a safety feature allowing the handle be tightly gripped without the possibility of unintentionally releasing the lock. The BY04 Meadowlark presents a cost effective alternative to Spyderco's main CLIPIT-line of high-performance knives standing independently on their design and performance merits.

The FRN(fiberglass reinforced nylon) Meadowlark has slip-free texture, deeply molded into the plastic so it won`t slide or move around in the hand. Nested inside the handle are full-length steel liners adding rigidity and strength without unnecessary weight and phosphor bronze bushing for smooth open/close. The 8Cr13MoV stainless steel blade is hollow-ground with a comet shaped hole so the folder opens and closes one-handedly. On top of the blade`s spine is a series of crosshatching the knife industry calls jimping. Jimping creates tactile resistance, gripping the thumb and keeping it in contact with the top of the blade while cutting. Features a 4-way pocket clip for left or right-handed, tip-up or tip-down carry. Cut out of the lock`s release is a safety feature called a David Boye Dent allowing you to tightly grip the handle without fear of accidentally releasing the lock.

To date there are five models: The Cara Cara, Meadowlark, Flight, Pelican and Crossbill. All models have holloe-ground blades manufactured using 8Cr13MoV stainless steel, which is similar to Aus-8in its properties, performance and function. 8Cr13MoV steel contains both molybdenum and vanadium. Molybdenum enhances the strength and hardness of the steel, vanadium its wear resistance and toughness. Carbon augments the steel's tensile strength and increases its resistance to wear and abrasion. Resulting from this recipe is blade steel that retains a sharp cutting edge over time and use. Most byrds are available with a olain or combination plain/serrated cutting edge. The "comet" shaped opening hole is a trademark of the byrd line and is synonymous with the stringent quality requirements, high performance materials and manufacturing, which go into every knife. fully stainless handles have a sequence of ergonomic curves that fit into the palm for comfort and fatigue-free control while cutting. For additional safty, a portion of the lock release is ground away. This is a design add-on conceived by custom knifemaker David Boye and eliminates the chance of gripping the knife tightly enough to unintentionally release the lock. All byrds feature a pocket clip that clips the knife inside a pocket and it attaches to either end of the folder for tip-up or tip-down right-hand carry.

The Raven has an aluminum handle that is both featherweight and feather textured for ultra-light, slip free cutting. The handle`s unique feathered pattern radiates bi-directionally outward from the center creating tactile resistance in the palm when cutting in a forward or backward motion. The blade is made with 8Cr13MoV stainless steel with a centerline grind and jimping (crosshatching) where handle and blade connect. Jimping gives the thumb and forefinger traction and cutting manageability over the sharpened edge. Running the length of the handle tucked inside, are full-length steel liners and a Michael Walker style LinerLock. The comet shaped opening hole is a trademark of the byrd knife line and is synonymous with the stringent quality requirements, high performance materials and manufacturing put into each byrd knife.
