The V-42 Dagger was a specialized fighting knife designed by Major General Robert T. Frederick for the First Special Service Force, or Devil's Brigade, of which he was commanding officer. This unit was a special paratroop unit formed from volunteers of the US and Canadian Military to perform commando type operations behind enemy lines during WWII, and its members were trained extensively in the lethal use of the knife.

This classic boot dagger has got a little poison hidden in the handle. If the rat-tail tang 4 3/8" main blade weren’t enough, a 2" stinger blade is enclosed in the handle for added protection. The handle is black cast aluminum with a checkered non-slip grip. Includes black nylon boot or belt clip sheath with embroidered scorpion patch and a protective plastic blade shell.
