This Scottish basket-hilt Claymore is the equal to any raised by clansmen as they overran the English at the Battle of Falkirk on Jan. 17th, 1746. The pierced basket-hilt is a faithful reproduction of one found on the Culloden Moor. The fully tempered high carbon steel blade is of the typical fullered, double-edge, broadsword pattern of the 1500's - 1800's. The basket also has a rich red cloth liner and a scabbard is included. Working directly with the master armorer from the original production, Simon Atherton, we have expertly reproduced in every detail the famous sword of William Wallace as carried by Mel Gibson. This impressive broad sword is hand forged of high carbon steel, fully tempered and with a full tang as the original was and would have been made to further add to the realism. The authentic materials extend to the custom wood grip and oil tanned leather wrap. No scabbard available. Nothing has been left out, you own the exact version as carried on set. Includes full color wood display plaque, certificate of authenticity and even the exact custom made, wool tartan strip tied to the handle as seen in the film. This famous and exacting replica is a must for any movie or history aficionado.

This type of Charay knife (also known as a Charas, Churea and a Salawaryatagan), was first used in Indo-Persia, but quickly spread across the near east, deriving its common name, “Khyber” Knife, from its famed use against the British by the native tribes of the Khyber Pass area. It is still used in Afghanistan, Pakistan and Northern India today. The scabbard is worn thrust, unsecured, in a number of positions under a belt, with blades ranging from 14" to 30". Our offering has an aged finish on the entire knife and scabbard, including the worked and painted brass and buffalo horn grip on a full tang profile with the customary ring at the end of the grip that is often used for a wrist tie-down. The “T” shaped blade has a raised spine along the length of the blade, which allows the blade to be thin to hold a very sharp edge yet remain extremely strong. Made by Windlass Steelcrafts®. We have named this impressive Italian sword for the Battle of Chioggia, where the Venetians totally crushed the Genovese forces and ended Genoa as a great sea power. This is a very well-balanced and fast sword with its deeply fluted pommel and beveled guard, both from steel. The grip is wood covered in leather with decorative studs. | Greek Kopis Sword |

Although the leaf blade Hoplite Sword is most often associated with the ancient Greek warrior, the Kopis was widespread and much in use all across the Greek Isles and indeed other areas under their influence, even including their ofttimes enemy, Persia. This is due, no doubt, to the fact that it is a very effective weapon, being able to split bronze helms and wooden shields. Blade sizes varied from about 8" up to about 22" in length. We have chosen to replicate a mid-size blade that would have been carried alone or sometimes with a longer Hoplite Sword. The fullered blade is high carbon steel and has polished buffalo horn scales riveted to a full profile tang with steel spacers and tip. But today, the Heron Mark is a sign that the sword was made by a blademaster. Such swords are awarded only to he who has proven that he has the highest possible skill with a sword. Authorized and approved by Robert Jordan, this sword is an accurate copy of those blades in The Wheel of Time series. Some took this to the degree where they had older, medieval cutting style blades mounted on more modern hilts. This sword is certainly a prime example of this practice with its wide cutting blade mounted on a slightly "S" curved quillion cross guard with simple finger ring protection.
