| Windlass Classic Medieval Sword (500020s) |
Points: 16
|
Sword is an Oakeshott Type X with a Type I pommel and a Type VII crossguard. The long and wide fuller on this blade lightens the overall sword and make it possible to deliver fast and shearing cuts, capable of cutting through the mail and padding that were worn during the period. The long guard offers good protection from an opponent's shield or blade, while the classic wheel pommel brings the sword very nicely into balance. This type of sword was in service for a long period of time throughout all of Europe. Made by Windlass Steelcrafts.

Points: 4
|
True all purpose function for the real outdoorsman. Windlass Cobra survival knife features hand-forged, X46Cr13 steel blade, fully tempered in state-of-the-art computer controlled ovens to a Rockwell hardness of 48º so it will flex in a cut and come back for more – the way a knife should be. Nothing fancy, just tried and true function. Features a rugged hard rubber mold-over grip giving great one hand performance while absorbing shock. The grip is purposefully longer than most machetes for a second hand hold when extra chopping power is needed. The falcata design echoed here is one of the best chopping designs in history and our Cobra is no different. Experience the difference a Cobra can make! | Windlass French Napoleonic Briquet Short Sword (501867) |
Points: 10
|
This short saber was introduced in 1767, preceding the French Revolution, as a replacement for heavier and cumbersome swords like the fusilier’s ēpēe. It was instantly derided for its modest dimensions and nicknamed “Briquet” (”fire lighter”) and the name stuck and became official in 1806.

| Windlass Persian Scimitar 1700 (501899s) |
Points: 10
|
The original scimitar was called a shamshir, (which meant "lion's tail") and had a deeply curved blade that was almost a half circle. Developed in Persia, this type of blade was effective for draw cuts, but other than that, of limited utility. This caused the blade to shift its shape into a more useful version, which we have chosen to copy.

| Windlass Signature Series Towton Sword 1350-1400 (501893) |
Points: 15
|
In 1461, Edward IV led a Yorkist army against King Henry VI’s Lancastrians at Towton. A snowstorm favored the Yorkist archers, forcing 20,000 Lancastrians to charge downhill. Thousands died in one of England’s bloodiest battles. Named for that clash, our sword has a sharp, tapered blade, fine balance, and well-tempered steel.

| Windlass Steelcraft Falcata |
Points: 12
|
Circa 200 BC
The Celt-Iberians of Roman times were justly famed for their weapons, such as the Falcata; one of the most devastating swords ever made! The inward curving blade delivered a tremendous blow and could split both shield and helmet. Considered to be of Greek, or possibly Etruscan origin, this sword spread into Southern Russia and also Spain. It was in Spanish hands that it was most feared by the Romans. The blade is made from high carbon steel. The handle is solid brass. Comes with brown leather scabbard.
