The sword was created by Fornuna's Order of the Sword as part of a plan to battle and defeat more powerful demons. The sword was given by the Order to Nero following his overwhelming skills in battle. This authentic replica sword used in the Capcom video game stretches a massive 42 inches overall and offers a 31 3/4-inch stainless steel blade (false-edged). This knife is an actual copy of a typical Bowie knife of the 1830s. The story of the Bowie began on a sandbar of the Mississippi River above Natchez, Mississippi on September 19, 1827. A brawl that eventually involved Col. James “Jim” Bowie, who, having been shot and stabbed, successfully defended himself killing Major Norris Wright and wounding Alfred Blanchard with what onlookers described as a “large butcher knife.” This and other tales of Bowie’s abilities with a knife led to the widespread popularity of what became known as the “Bowie” knife.
