The annual series, better known as the "Fantasy Series" soon became a tradition that continues today. The 2011 Annual Series is the Gil Hibben Eclipse Bowies. The Autographed Bowie is limited to 3,000 pieces. This high quality Bowie is the newest edition to the most collectible line of production fantasy. This knife features a cast stainless steel pommel, guard and accents and a laminated hardwood handle. Offers an AUS-6 stainless steel drop point blade and includes a recycled leather sheath.

Stallone commissioned Gil to make several knives to use in THE EXPENDABLES and THE EXPENDABLES 2. One of those was a never-before-produced, custom-designed Toothpick. It offers a classic Arkansas toothpick style 11 7/8" AUS-6 stainless steel blade with mirror-polished finish and a solid brass back. The handle is constructed of wood with a synthetic ivory inlay. The handle is accented with a mirror-finished guard and pommel. Includes a classic leather belt sheath with stamped Hibben logo and a Certificate of Authenticity.

This knife is an actual copy of a typical Bowie knife of the 1830s. The story of the Bowie began on a sandbar of the Mississippi River above Natchez, Mississippi on September 19, 1827. A brawl that eventually involved Col. James “Jim” Bowie, who, having been shot and stabbed, successfully defended himself killing Major Norris Wright and wounding Alfred Blanchard with what onlookers described as a “large butcher knife.” This and other tales of Bowie’s abilities with a knife led to the widespread popularity of what became known as the “Bowie” knife.

This cutlery masterpiece offers a stabilized synthetic ivory handle accented by the gold-plated blade catcher and guard which are reminiscent of the styling of original bowies. Expendables artwork is featured on the handle and the gold-plated guard offers cast star designs on both ends. The classic 14" blade is constructed from polished stainless steel. This is probably one of our most unique and dramatic knife design we have in store. This particular knife design was ordered by Sylvester Stallone himself for the movie Cobra released in 1986. Designed by Herman Scneider this knife was used extensively in the movie by the “Night Slasher” character.
The model you see below is an authentic and officially licensed replica made by Master Cutlery. Using one of the original Herman Schneider handmade knives for reference, Master Cutlery have been able to recreate this distinctive knife in exact detail right down to the deathskull medalion mounted on the blade.
