Spyderco/Byrd Meadowlark FRN Folding Knife (BY04PBK2) |
Points: 2
|
Folding knife Spyderco FRN(fiberglass reinforced nylon) Meadowlark has slip-free texture, deeply molded into the plastic so it won`t slide or move around in the hand. Nested inside the handle are full-length steel liners adding rigidity and strength without unnecessary weight and phosphor bronze bushing for smooth open/close. The 8Cr13MoV stainless steel blade is hollow-ground with a comet shaped hole so the folder opens and closes one-handedly. On top of the blade`s spine is a series of crosshatching the knife industry calls jimping. Jimping creates tactile resistance, gripping the thumb and keeping it in contact with the top of the blade while cutting. Features a 4-way pocket clip for left or right-handed, tip-up or tip-down carry. Cut out of the lock`s release is a safety feature called a David Boye Dent allowing you to tightly grip the handle without fear of accidentally releasing the lock.

Spyderco/Byrd 8 Tool Harp (BY13CP) |
Points: 3
|
It's called a Harp Tool because it's silhouette is evocative of the musical instrument. The byrd Harp has eight functional tools which rotate out individually from an outer ring and snap open, ready for use. Included: a slotted-head and Phillips-head screwdriver, punch/awl, gimlet, saw, corkscrew, file and small/large-head hammer that doubles as a bottle opener. When folded flat the Harp slips into a leather carrying case. It's like having a micro toolbox for your kitchen, car, boat, backpack or bike. Sold Out

It also comes with a pocket clip and nylon sheath so if you’re a hang-it-on-a-belt-loop person or a clip-in-my-pocket-person, you’re covered. Sold Out

Points: 5
|
Engineered for the human hand, the Native's ergonomic design maximizes cutting ability while minimizing discomfort and fatigue. This model is all about combining performance and comfort. Spyderco Military G-10 Combination Edge(partially serrated) (C36GPSE) |

A cornerstone in Spyderco's Save and Serve line up, the Military Model came about after someone asked Spyderco's owner Sal Glesser, "If your son were going into the military what folding knife would you send him with?" Spyderco Para Military G-10 Plain Edge (C81GP) |
Points: 9
|
The most awaited mid-sized survival knife of 2004. When Spyderco initially introduced our Military Model critics claimed it too large and more knife than the average user needed. Likewise, fans enthusiastically heralded the knife's big performance attributes. We arrive at the question knife manufacturers often ask themselves, "How do we satisfy both worlds and create a mid-sized knife that acts, cuts and performs like a larger knife?" Our answer was the Para Military. Sold Out
