Knife Spyderco/Byrd Finch (BY11GP) |
Points: 2
|
Byrd Finch Folder Plain Edge Distributed By Spyderco.
The smallest folder in the byrd line is the Finch. It is engineered to yield maximum cutting performance with a blade under two-inches. G10 laminate handle. A ball chain threaded through the lanyard hole (included) can be used as a keychain or lets you attach the knife to a purse, pocket or zipper pull. Designing a small knife that feels secure in an adult-sized hand can be challenging. The Finch brings several elements together to elevate ergonomics and create purchase in the user`s hand. The inclusion of jimping (texturing) along the spine and a finger choil on the bottom of the handle let you wrap your hand around the folder for remarkable control and precision over the cutting edge. The back lock is positioned midway on the spine facilitating one hand opening and closing. The Finch`s blade is high carbon 8Cr13MoV stainless steel that is hollow-ground and available either fully serrated or plainedged. It is clipless. Sold Out

The new Wings SLIPIT is a non-locking folder in the byrd line. Its bosltered stainless steel handle is fitted with G-10 scales, housing dual hollow-ground blades. One is Sheepfoot-shaped with 2-1/4 inches (57mm) of serrated cutting edge. The Sheepfoot’s rounded tip has no point, suiting it well for puncture-free cutting. Each blade is made from 8Cr13MoV stainless steel, with the two sitting shoulder-to-shoulder, opening smoothly in opposite directions with the help of phosphor bronze washers. Knife Spyderco/Byrd Wings (BY20GPS) |
Points: 3
|
Ask someone what comes to mind when they think of a multi-bladed pocketknife. There’s a likely chance the first thing that pops into their head is a traditional small bone-handled pocketknife like their grandfather used to carry. Those original multi-bladed pocket folders were handy for cutting packages or cardboard and floated deep in grandfather’s pocket clinking against his keys and loose change. Sold Out

Down Under Knife The Outback Eclipse (DUKOBE) |
Points: 18
|
The Outbackâ„¢ has always been our most popular knife, and the most upgraded throughout its lifetime. Whenever we find a way to make it even slightly better, those changes tend to inevitably end up in the next production run. However, all along this development cycle, one recurring theme kept coming up - granted, mostly from people who had never used one, but it's a valid point nevertheless. Sold Out

Down Under Knives The Bushmate (DUKBM) |
|
With the large and extra large hunting knives firmly covered, we turned our attention to detail work. There's a lot to be said for bringing enough knife for the job, but sometimes there's no substitute for the precision of a moderately sized blade that doesn't extend too far from your grip. We feel this type of knife is all about finesse and control, so we gave it just that: an unshiftable grip and plenty of surface for your thumb and index finger to keep the knife exactly where you want it. Coupled with a classic, proven blade design and gently curving, tapered back for extra smooth gliding properties this knife doesn't just feel like an extension - it feels like a natural part of your hand.
