| Spyderco Persistence (C136GP) |
Points: 1
|
Depending whom you ask, Persistence means different things to different people. It means continuing without veering off course or changing function or structure. It describes ongoing existence regardless of interference or challenges. Some even say persistent personalities experience déjà vu more frequently due to their repetitive drive.
We thought it a great name for a knife as it also means steadfastness and never-give-up-attitude. Spyderco’s C136 Persistence is the smaller version of the Tenacious Model, another reliable descriptive of human nature. We milled the black G-10 laminate handle with prolonged fatigue-free cutting in mind. Comfort in hand means easier use long-term.

| Spyderco Tenacious Plain Blade (C122GP) |
Points: 3
|
Being tenacious means one holds fast. One is persistent and cohesive. It means being tough and tireless until achieving your goal: all knife-worthy definitions for a worthy knife. The mid-sized Tenacious has a black G-10 laminate handle, milled with prolonged fatigue-free cutting in mind. Tucked inside are skeletonized steel liners increasing the handle’s rigidity and strength without adding non-functioning weight or bulky thickness.

| Spyderco Military G-10 Plain Edge (C36GPE) |
Points: 9
|
A cornerstone in Spyderco's Save and Serve line up, the Military Model came about after someone asked Spyderco's owner Sal Glesser, "If your son were going into the military what folding knife would you send him with?" For certain, it had to meet the requirements of a high-performance, light-weight folder designed for hard use.

| Spyderco Para Military 2 G-10 Plain Edge (C81GP2) |
Points: 6
|
Why change something if it works? Because, at Spyderco, we practice the principle of C.Q.I. - Constant Quality Improvement. If we can refine and improve the ergonomics or cutting performance of an established model, we do it.
Our 2010 Para-Military2 has several changes over the classic version.

| Spyderco Para Military G-10 Spyder Edge(serrated) (C81GS) |
Points: 9
|
The most awaited mid-sized survival knife of 2004. When Spyderco initially introduced our Military Model critics claimed it too large and more knife than the average user needed. Likewise, fans enthusiastically heralded the knife's big performance attributes. We arrive at the question knife manufacturers often ask themselves, "How do we satisfy both worlds and create a mid-sized knife that acts, cuts and performs like a larger knife?" Our answer was the Para Military.

| Knife Spyderco Civilian G-10 (C12GS) |
Points: 5
|
The Civilian has a patented reverse "S" blade that's intended to be used like an oversized claw. The tip is ground to an ultra-thin profile. Deeply curved and full at the belly, the VG-10 hollow-ground blade excels in slicing and is available fully SpyderEdged. Because of its distinctly specialized features it is not intended or designed for general utility or everyday use. Curved in all the right places for ergonomic use and retention of the knife, the handle is black G-10. Mounted for tip-down carry with a custom curved black clip, the knife rides deeply and unobtrusively in a pocket. One of the most specialized CLIPITS in the Spyderco line-up, the Civilian is available in limited quantities.

| Spyderco Harpy (C08S) |
Points: 6
|
Like the claw of the Harpy eagle the C08 is shaped for controlled pulling cuts. The hawkbill blade shape originated in the marine/fishing industry where severing rope, line, webbing and netting is done at arm's length quickly and efficiently. The curving arc holds what you're cutting against the sharpened edge keeping it from slipping off the tip.

| Spyderco Endura 4 Stainless Steel Plain Edge (C10P) |
Points: 5
|
The stainless Endura 4, fills your palm with a handful of steel yet doesn't seem weighty or unwieldy. Knife Knuts who prefer something heavier and stouter seem to gravitate to steel handled knives. Since the handle surface is flat and smooth it offers an ideal palette for engraving or personalizing your knife.

| Spyderco Endura 4 FRN Plain Edge (C10PBK) |
Points: 4
|
In 1990 Spyderco shook things up by introducing two knives, the Delica and Endura. First of their kind on the market, both folders opened up the knife market to lightweight performance, one-hand open pocketknives that just about everyone could afford. They settled as Spyderco’s top two bestsellers and their improvement hasn’t slowed since. Refinement has been so ongoing and continual Spyderco tagged the updating/upgrading process with the term CQI- Constant Quality Improvement.
